This skein is 80% alpaca fiber, 20% silk noil. I started with the base from our rose grey boy Killian. I blended in a bright yellow and pink silk noil for those little pops of color. There is also a hint of medium brown and white alpaca mingled throughout the fibers. Rose grey is a nice "heathered brown" for anyone who isn't familiar with this color classification or if computer display shows more grey than brown. If you are looking for a more natural fiber without alot of dyes, this yarn will not disappoint.
THis handspun yarn created a 7wpi- Chunky weight yarn of 160 yards (4.5 oz).
This blend lot and spin weight yielded three skeins. Please take a look so that you don't miss out on the proper yardage you will need for that special project.
