This nice, neutral yarn starts with a base of our medium rose grey alpaca fiber. Rose grey alpaca fiber presents as a lovely heathered brown look. I blended it with a nice, soft dyed wool of yellow, brown and rust colors; just like those autumn Sundays.
This combination is a 50% alpaca/50% wool yarn. This colorway would make a lovely accent to a hat or scarf when paired with another natural colored yarn for that man in your life.
I handspun this skein into a 7wpi- chunky weight yarn of 151 yards (4.4 oz).
This dye lot and spin weight yielded two skeins. Please take a look so that you don't miss out on the proper yardage you will need for that special project.
#2 "Hint of Autumn" Handspun Alpaca/Wool Yarn
Please wash in cold water with Wool lite or Dawn soap, roll up in a towel to gently press water out and then air dry. Like all animal fibers, felting and shrinking can occur if handled any other way.
