This fun artistic yarn starts with a base of our alpaca fiber in bay black and white . This skein is 85% alpaca fiber, 5% wool, 10% silk. The 5% wool additive is the turquiose-blue blend of local Montana raised rambouillet, targhee and polypay wools. The burnt orange/rust color is a blend of alpaca fiber and silk. I love how all these fibers work together- this is a exciting yarn!
I handspun this skein into a 6 wpi- bulky weight yarn of 125 yards (5.1 oz).
This dye lot and spin weight yielded three skeins. Please take a look so that you don't miss out on the proper yardage you will need for that special project.

Please wash in cold water with Wool lite or Dawn soap, roll up in a towel to gently press water out and then air dry. Like all animal fibers, felting and shrinking can occur if handled any other way.
